"The Good Ones’ is the fourth single release from Andreas S. Jensen's forthcoming second solo album and first Australian single release.
It Is a song about finding the right one, the one that fits for you, the one that is good for you. It's also a song about loneliness, about growing up and about your relationship with the people that brought you up. It is also a song about the value and rarity of kindness.
Musically it is inspired by Andreas’ time spent in south west Texas. The sound and production echoes the sound of the dance bands at classic Austin bar venues like the Continental club and The White Horse.
Andreas met co-writer of The Good Ones Kullen Fuchs way back in 2011 through a mutual friend and bonded at house parties and jam sessions at Kullen’s live /work space a garage in south west Austin. The song was written in a 4 hour songwriting session at The House Of Songs, a royalty collection supported institution in Austins South Congress area where songwriters from all over the world get together to collaborate.
